Care Begins with Knowledge

Across any rare disease, it’s difficult to raise awareness and shine light on the condition. For kids growing up with achondroplasia—the most common form of dwarfism—underrepresentation takes a toll. Caregivers struggle to find the right resources and surrounding members of the community form misconceptions.

To break this stigma, we wrote Rising Love. A picture book for children with achondroplasia to feel heard, families caring for a child with achondroplasia to gain advice, and those without achondroplasia to learn.
